How to design a business card

Creating a eye catching business card that will get you more business.

Less is more and more is messy! Remember this when laying out your new business card.  Too much to read in a small space makes people not want to read the item.

When you create a layout of your business card ask yourself what is the most important items that MUST BE prominent?  First, you are the #1 priority, not the company name, you as an individual, make sure this is large and stands out.  Second part to the best business card design is how to get in touch with you. Whether it is by telephone, email, or text, make sure this is large and stands out.  If your email is long try putting on two lines so you can make the text larger.  Even better idea is to create a smaller email address to fit on one line. Next important item is your company information (logo and address) and your title (should be small and fit under your name).  If you have a company motto, put on the back of the card if large.  If not, a great placement is underneath the logo.  The back of the card can list services, have spaces for appointments, other company contacts and even note areas.

When you are ready to get the card printed make sure to get gloss on at least front side of card.

Hope your card turns out the customers you need! Happy Layout!
